Baltimore, MD—Image Engineering is excited to welcome John Villella, Jr as Director of Design and Project Operations.
With a strong foundation in business operations and process management, John has developed extensive experience through various roles as a business manager, live event professional and entrepreneur. He has held various positions in live event production, such as Senior Producer, Director of Operations, and General Manager, where he led diverse teams across creative agencies, media companies, and live event productions. He has a proven track record in managing complex project portfolios, delivering high-quality results within tight budgets and deadlines. In these leadership roles, John has empowered and guided teams of account managers, designers, project managers, installers, and producers to execute successful projects. Additionally, he began his career as an entrepreneur in marketing and communications, successfully managing a series of traditional publications and digital media products before merging with a larger regional media company.
Image Engineering found its niche in the live events industry back in 2004 when it partnered with the Baltimore Ravens for CO2 effects at each home game during player introductions. Since this time, Image Engineering now works with over 18 NFL team franchises, national professional level sport league events, and a host of clients in the MLS, MLB, NBA, and NHL.
By leveraging our long-standing engineering and fabrication team, Image Engineering is now translating our live events production expertise into installations and special effects integrations throughout the country.
