DRONE SHOW FAQ’S

HOW MANY DRONES ARE NEEDED FOR A SHOW?

While we can technically fly smaller shows, we recommend a minimum of 100 drones to create clear shapes, readable logos, and impactful visuals. For more complex animations, branding moments, or large-scale events, shows typically range from 200–500+ drones.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DESIGN AND PRODUCE A DRONE SHOW?

Our standard production timeline is approximately 6 weeks from concept to show-ready. This includes creative development, animation, flight programming, and safety planning. Shorter timelines may be possible depending on complexity and availability.

WHAT DOES THE CREATIVE PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

We start with concept development and storyboarding, followed by custom drone animation design. Once visuals are approved, we program and simulate the full show before deploying onsite.

ARE DRONE SHOWS SAFE?

Yes. Safety is our top priority. All flights are pre-programmed, tested in simulation, and executed by licensed professionals following strict FAA guidelines.

HOW LONG CAN A DRONE SHOW LAST?

Typical drone shows run between 10–12 minutes, depending on drone model, weather conditions, and creative complexity.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR DRONE TYPES (X1 VS X7)?

We operate a fleet of Verge Aero X1 and X7 drones, allowing us to tailor each show to the creative, environment, and scale:

X1: Ideal for standard aerial formations and scalable shows, with select units capable of carrying integrated pyrotechnic effects for added impact

X7: Enhanced brightness and performance, well-suited for high-impact visuals, longer durations, and more complex animations

Both platforms are reliable, high-quality systems—we select the right combination based on your show goals, environment, and budget to deliver the best overall experience.

WHAT ARE THE SITE REQUIREMENTS?

Drone shows require a secure launch area, adequate airspace clearance, and compliance with local aviation regulations. Our team handles all permitting and safety coordination.

CAN DRONE SHOWS BE CUSTOMIZED WITH LOGOS OR MESSAGING?

Absolutely. We specialize in fully custom content, including logos, text, and animated scenes tailored to your event or brand.
