Green Bay Packers:            Holiday Show

In fall of 2017 the Green Bay Packers approached Image Engineering to help produce a 3D holiday projection mapping show on the exterior of Lambeau Field. The Image team took on the challenge, this would be the first time that anyone had projection mapped on the historic stadium. The design team created a 6-minute that included 3D projection, lasers, pyrotechnics and syncrolites.

To accommodate a very short installation window and provide shelter from the harsh Green Bay winter weather, Image’s fabrication and engineering team purchased a 28’ pup trailer and completely renovated the inside to become a rolling projection and production studio. With (10) Christie 20k projectors, (4) 25w lasers, control equipment and video processing gear, the entire project system was outfitting, programmed and test at the Baltimore facility. After a quick drive from Baltimore to Green Bay the team was able to meet the trailer, already fully functional and begin the mapping and alignment immediately.

The end result was a show that brought fans out in droves to Packers Titletown and providing a holiday show unlike the town had seen before.
