In 2011, the Washington Wizards underwent a major team rebranding and therefore needed to update their image across the board.
Check out the Case Study on the Wiz-Man for more information on our history with the Wizards. Wiz-Man was one of the pieces that fell under the old branding and therefore needed to be updated. While they did away with the Wizard, the team did not want to do away with the flame effects.
We had to incorporate their new logo into a sleekly designed package that still met all of the Fire Marshal’s requirements. Being able to constantly adapt to future needs of a client is one of our strong suits. Because of the simplicity of this new design and the interchangeability of the logo, Washington’s WNBA team the Washington Mystics were also able to incorporate flames into their games.
